Step 6: MCDBA - Microsoft Certified Database Administrator

After going through the MCSE, this next step is going to feel almost trivial. As a side effect of the core requirements for the MCSA and MCSE combined with your choice for one of the electives on the MCSE, you are only one exam away from earning MCDBA. By taking the SQL Server 2000 design exam, you will be able to list your name as "Jane Smith MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, Network+, A+". OK, will all of that even fit on a business card?

For this exam you should only need the SQL Server 2000 design study guide. Combined with the extensive knowledge you've built through the course of earning your MCSE, this step should be very straight forward.
